How about Adriano, scoring goals, playing out of position. Pretty sure the bar was set low for him by most..

It's refreshing to see a team in all-white kits come to the Camp Nou and compete cleanly and bravely.

Nah, he got the ball first. Couldn't tell until the replay though.

Considering how our D's been decimated, so many guys have stepped it up. Can't say we haven't missed a beat, but great performances from the ones who have filled in.

Three points. Iniesta seemed to pick it up towards the end....too bad his curler didn't go in.

Which is why I stick with Catalunya Radio. ;) Joaquim Maria Puyal, he of "Urruti t'estimo" fame. Can't beat that.
I know I'm in the minority but Ray Hudson's style gets on my nerves. :cautious:

Good match overall. Messi gets a brace, the team gets another win, and Puyol plays after a lay-off. Let's just get the win in Russia and not be concerned with matchday 6 in the CL.

It's a good thing Puyol started. Zaragoza had 7 corners and Puyol came up big in a couple of them to clear away the threat. Unusual to see Barca get out-shot at home.

Puyol will need few more games before totally match fit, he's still seems worried about his hand, you can see him hiding his hand in his back everytime he tried to block a shot. We're now less vulnurable on counter attack, thanks also to Alba who really helped in tracking back, something that Alves dont have anymore these days.

Interesting fact so far this season, when Messi has scored in a La Liga game, he has scored at least 2. No one goal games.

This was a strong result and image displayed by the team. It would have been easy to drop points here after an international break where many travelled across the world and back as well as the commitment and pressing Zaragoza put in throughout the entire match. But we remained grounded, played well, and managed to take care of things professionally. I'd say it was a job well done.

Montoya has been fantastic so far this season and I really think it's time to start thinking about him replacing Alves in the lineup if Dani doesn't get his act together and works on his defensive game.

Tello provided some fresh energy when he came on and Cesc helped control the midfield. I thought Iniesta and Xavi were great in that aspect. Puyol and Pique really shored things up at the back, it's amazing to see how much better we are at the back when those two are there at the heart of things. Hopefully we'll see more of that duo in the months to come.

Alba had another fine game and Song had a decent outing as well. Thought he gave the ball away too much in the second half though when he could have made a better decision. But we didn't miss Busquets in this game thanks to Alex's good contribution.

Now, a really difficult week coming up where a bad result can easily occur due to the situation and the strength of the opponents. We've got to be on top of our game now if we are to come up with some fantastic results that put us in a commanding position in both our CL group and the league.

Every one of those except one the opposition has scored at least once.

    U don't simply outscore Messi.
