    What was Mascherano doing on the left-side of midfield though? He's a center-back.

    So with the two games last week, Barca has now conceded 2 or more goals in over half of the matches this season where Puyol didn't start. The task is tall before each match: Score at least 3 goals or you'll probably drop points. :eek:

    That said, the defending looked better overall yesterday. The second-goal was a bit flukey.

    The worrying thing is that teams don't need a lot of chances to score against us. I don't know the exact stats but it appears as if a team creates 3 chances against us they will score 2 goals, it's all to easy. Also, against Mallorca, nominally at least, we did, in Pique, Alves and Alba, have 3 defenders playing but we still look very vulnerable. Personally I blame Shakira.

    It was Alves who never in his position, he used to track back back in the day , running tirelessly like Maicon but those days were gone I'm afraid.
