Anyone think Villa has a superstitious 'goal beard' thing going on? As in, he won't shave it as long as he keeps scoring?

If that's the case, I hope it grows to his knees. :D

It looks like we should be able to put at least 4 against this Celta defense. We are easily getting behind their FBs on the flanks.

I dunno. I mean, he has always scored a lot and this is a new style. Maybe more to do with laying on a couch, watching tv, recovering from injury, not bothering to shave and then eventually starting to think "hm this is my new style" kinda thing?

I dare you to image search "flank steak" and not feel "I wanna eat that". Impossible.

Thiago must be thinking his father sucks.

Should have put that away and not tried to round Varas, poor decision.

    :D

Is this the moment in Barca history when "Thiago" with no explanations refers to Messi and not Alcantara? Early imo. Mazinho's a World Champ.

Well, I did say his father. Kind of easy to tell which Thiago we're talking about there. :D

I won't be referring to Thiago as Messi's child like that until he joins the club.

Well Valdes came up big for us, and yes this looks like it's going to be a high scoring match. Iniesta and Villa seemed to be in sync in the 1st half. It was looking like Varas was gonna pull off another match of his life like last year's 0-0 for Sevilla.

Question, after seeing the image of them sitting in the stands....when is Pique coming back? It seems like it's been two months. Puyol might be in the lineup before Pique.

He's been active, created, passed well, made runs, gotten into scoring positions etc. And it's only HT. Should've scored at least once, but scoring isn't the only test in judging who's good or bad. Sluggish and passive is bad. Messi hasn't been that.

Not saying he's been as great as flank steak tonight, but terrible is way too much imo.

Bartra on for Cesc. Good sub but I don't think we should have started with such a packed, creative midfield in the first place. Made us too vulnerable on the counter. Hopefully this will help us.

On that replay it looked like Valdes left the far post way too open. Probably from getting beat near post so often lately ...
