Same here, I'm a Comcast user, It's hilarious to me that they bought the rights to two major leagues without even being an stablished channel in the U.S. They just all of the sudden came into the picture and expect La Liga followers to just switch our cable plans.
This is bs, i'll have to settle with pirated internet streams then to watch Barcelona games. :cautious:

Should be interesting to see how La Liga with beIN shakes out since it's parent company is Al Jazeera which has been blocked from cable companies for more than a decade now...Dish & DirecTV signed on but without cable operators, a sizable portion of the US will be unable to view the matches...Something will have to give but I don't expect much inertia from the cable operator's side - a deal with Al Jazeera seems improbable

Which is fine because I suspect the future will be streaming content anyway

They tried to do a years plus work in one off-season and have failed miserably. According to other threads, only 8 million people will have Bein Sport when La Liga kicks off tomorrow.

Not looking promising for La Liga fans in Canada either. No TV rights for La Liga as of yet. That sucks, there isn't even Serie A coverage this season either (as of yet). It's 100% EPL, yeah whooooo round of applause.

I hate watching streams for anything, they're always buffering. On the plus side, the Spanish SuperCopa first leg on Thursday will be live on GolTV Canada (4:30 pm EDT).

Barcelona line-up (official): Valdes - Alves Puyol Mascherano Alba - Xavi Busquets Cesc - Pedro Messi Tello.

Kinda interesting/surprising imo with no Iniesta, Alexis, Pique.

we've got four games this week, so rotations make sense. especially after all the internationals

What's with the "prediction" when the official is already announced?

Sorry about that, neither were posted up here, I saw the prediction first, seems sort of weird to complain w/o adding the official but I've done that now. I'm still on vacation and in preseason posting form I guess, mea culpa.

Lots of interesting games up against ours: Santos v. Corinthians; Milan v. Juventus (friendly?); Napoli v. Piraeus (friendly), and PSG on the road.
