I think it would be shocking if Freddy isn't called into the January camp. However, he does need to show up with the ability of passing JK's VO2 max tests, beep test, etc. 2 weeks with Piri now won't do it but should give him a good start and training plan for remainder of December to show up in best shape that he can.

This thread is like reading the business model of the underpants gnomes:

    Phase 1: Feddy Adu
    Phase 2: ?
    Phase 3: USMNT

Players like that don't work in europe anymore. Last was Riquelme in Pellegrini's Villarreal. He made SURE he had players cover him defensively because of what he gave to the team on offense... European coaches aren't willing to do that...

Cool. At least he's dressing the colors. Gala is a very good team. I wish he had a chance to play there.

We find out soon enough if he does. One of the most skilled players playing in the perfect league for him with the best club in their country. It's like Cinderella.

He does. I won't be quick to write this off. If this works out this could be a great thing.

Well, if he came there in decent shape, and has two weeks before camp, maybe he finally got the message?

    We can only hope.

Gala is a very unforgiving environment. No dogging it...skill or no skill.

The most impressive thing about his stint out there is he hasn't been blowing up twitter. I think that's the best sign he might be on the right track.

    Yup.

They gave up on a guy like Juan Pablo Pino and he actually had some amazing goals for them and put up decent numbers. He also is very skillful/technical player.

Do tell...Aren't you the one that was claiming Adu agreed that he was out of shape because he replied, I hear you?

Guess you didn't know that gmonn is the official interpreter (self-proclaimed) of Freddy Adu tweets. Apparently, interpreting Freddy takes a certain level of soccer IQ that only a select few possess just as it does in fully appreciating Freddy's game. However, gmonn in his apparent zeal to gain what he sees as victory #2 in his interpretation of said Freddy tweet, seems to have mistaken you for another poster. Don't be disappointed as you can still experience the majesty of the moment by following the link below ~ 1200 posts earlier in this epic thread.

Post below is OP in question and then all can bear witness to gmonn informing little grasshopper that all is not as it seems about 4 posts below it.

Well, I completely understood Sly Stallone in Victory which means that I am more than qualified to understand gmonn, since he self admittedly has only been following the game for a few years. If I can comprehend Sly I surely can understand him.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

The guy doesn't know what the word hypocrisy means, and he quotes historical greats, but can't follow their advice after acting like he had an epiphany, so Sly gets the nod right now, but I am open minded.

    On yeah....

Aduesque is a raging fan boy and Schapes is a blind hater.

Just heard the Jam's That's Entertainment and couldn't help myself.

Hell hath no fury like both Bradleys fanboys scorned.

We got another Davies hater here too, interesting how Adu and Davies get grouped like that.
