Foreigner, Liverpool, he bit a Chelsea player. Goes down when another player is within 3 feet. etc. etc. etc. Maggie Thatcher and Alex Furguson will veto that... (I know one of them is dead not sure which) But then:---- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ayer-of-the-season-by-premier-league-managers
Ehh....I was doing it more for those who are actually chasing the title. So instead of adding the bitters, I'll just take off Arsenal. Remaining Prem Schedules Chelsea: vs Arsenal, @ Palace, vs Stoke, @ Swansea, vs Sunderland, @ Liverpool, vs Norwich, @ Cardiff Liverpool: @ Cardiff, vs Sunderland, vs Tottenham, @ West Ham, vs Man City, @ Norwich, vs Chelsea, @ Palace, vs Newcastle. Man City: vs Fulham, @ Manure, @ Arsenal, vs Southampton, @ Liverpool, vs Sunderland, vs West Brom, @ Palace, @ Everton, vs Aston Villa, vs West Ham. It'll be interesting (read: scary) to see how us and Citeh stack up in that @ Palace fixture that Chelsea failed on Saturday but we both having coming up.
Gonna be really tight. City's 2 games in hand could easily hurt them as it could help them. And Chelsea has 2 more CL games.
Been thinking for a while that palace would decide this title. Play all three of us and a team that will be tough to beat at home. The one advantage we have over Chelsea is we should score. Might give up a few but don't see it being a 0-0 draw (more likely to be 5-5). As for player of the year it has to be Suarez. Honestly I think if it went to someone else they might actually be embarrassed. This is one of the best performances in the last 20 years. Let alone this year. Toure has had a good season but in 3 years nobody accept a Man City fan will remember it. Suarez's going to go down in history as one of the great ones.
IMO Toure is having the type of season you expect a top player to have. Suarez on the other hand is taking that an adding a bit extra to it. he isnt having a good season he is having an impressive one, and not just by the numbers. any other vote has to be due to bias or he pulled a Terry. does anyone think that where the title end up will decide who gets the POY - say Toure if city, Hazard if Chels, the uruguayan if Pool? (actually i think if Chels wins, it might flip to Suarez but if City wins Toure might be it (emphasis might)
Do you really think that they worry about "Embarrassment?" they embarrass themselves so often that it's the norm. Especially when you get a figure like Lois playing for Liverpool against a player from a souvern club. One could include Manure as a souvern club when Liverpool is in the mix. I think John Terry will win myself.
I really do. Suarez is the clear frontrunner with Toure right behind him and Hazard (though I believe he doesn't stand a chance). But if City takes the league, I can easily see him taking the POY award though obviously Suarez deserves it being top scorer and top at assists.
almost all of the awards are voted on before the season ends. Most of the ballots are actually already in.
I forgot about that. why do they often do it 6-7 weeks before the season is over. why not wait until 2-3 weeks prior.
Because footballers are traditionally given a holiday at the end of the season right before the Summer International tournament and pre season training.
Blame me if Liverpool slips up (not the strikers, not the defenders ...) http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=world-football
No surprise here, Sergio will be back for our game with ManC http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/media-watch/sky-sports-aguero-set-for-anfield-return
