Mata has updated his blog....Here's the link to it... http://blogs.grada360.com/juanmata/en/2014/02/03/ocho-dias-muy-intensos/
For a friendly right? Have to see which players are in taht squad, because a lot of NT's are giving fringe players a shot right now.
it means nothing. del Bosque said as much. off form Cazorla made it so whatever. i don't think Mata will make it anyway. he doesn't fit in with the style and has never been a popular choice anyway
He's one of those guys that, even if you're never good friends with him, you'd break your neck to help. So genuine and humble.
******** a blog. I could cry about anything if you give me a free website. He should shut that shit down until he finally takes a goddam shot on goal.
Turin-based publication Tuttosport are reporting that Juventus are already planning for the January transfer window. Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata is said to be a top target for the Italian champions.
Haha...yeah, for a cash rich team we really should be playing hardball more often. If we enquired about any of their players and they were difficult...then of course we should return the favour....but we ain't getting big money if he doesn't regain form, and we're open to offers.
Agreed. And @Karloski I don't know if we are open to offers, and we shouldn't be. LVG has the tactical ability to make it work, and we need to find a way to have him and Di Maria on the pitch together, ideally ahead of Herrera and behind Falcao/RVP. If that means shunting Wayne to a WC type role then let him bitch and moan all he wants, it still should be happening. Kind of hope it does happen to be honest, because they would lead to LVG making getting him out a high priority next summer, if his reputation is to be believed. At present, IF we went say 4231, sadly Wayne is our best option as the third in the 'three' unless Herrera proves more versatile again, Januzaj progression gets back on track, or we bring in someone of proper quality to play that role.
It depends entirely on di Maria and the system we settle on. If di Maria is used centrally and we opt for a 4-3-3 I would happily sacrifice Mata for some pace and penetration out wide. If di Maria is used out wide then Mata still has a role to play centrally.
Wait, if Mata 'regains' form? He's had like two bad games - where the whole team looked shit. He's got like 8 goals in 10 games or something, right? Jesus christ, lol.
Mata, Rooney and RVP have all been poor in these early games. Mata has more responsibility as the 10 to make something happen. If he can't do it, we have plenty of others who can step in and try and make it their own (ADM, Herrera, Januzaj). Lets see how he does with more first teamers back and the inclusion of ADM and Falcao. If he can't get some consistency then, I'd leave him out and shuffle the pack.
