alright folks, combined two of the most popular ideas in the old thread.

will also add this as a tag line - In Moyes We Rust from cr7 as i really liked that one as well.

as a reminder of the last post in the old thread, it was regarding an alleged break in Nani's new 5 year deal. seems odd to me to put one in but offer a 5 year deal anyway.

    take it away

well the Matuidi rumours can be put to bed. deal was to expire in summer but he penned a new 4 year deal so that is probably dead now

We should have called this thread

Going down! I love it when she gives me Baines! (or alternately, I love getting Baines)-The Summer Transfer Thread

How can we handle this thread properly? We need many white boards! And lots of lists of players, by position, ranking them from most favored to least favored! We'll need teams of people -- and stand up meetings -- and blackberries....computers, analysts, statisticians....

At least this summer will be funny to watch, whereas last summer was just pitiful. I'm envisioning -- either the Marx Brothers or the Three Stooges, I can't decide which...

btw, the next thread should be "We need more White Boards!"

My thought was "iPads linked to central servers/United linked with everyone/iPads freeze & all deals collapse at 11:59 PM".

Carlos Mane, all I want for Christmas in July is him and Carvarlho pretty please :) Required Yoooootuuubbee Video included (excuse the music)

For anyone that's interested, great attacking talent from Sporting, 19 turning 20 this year, made the first team this season last October, has represented Portugal from U15s up to U19s and has been pretty quality at all his age levels.
Real promise, he mostly plays on the right, but as shown in the video is pretty capable of cutting in from the left and shooting. I think if we're looking for (and sorry for the disgusting cliche) another Ronaldo esque player who can be groomed to play all across the attack then he's the one.

Only problem is Sporting do know what they have on their hands, probably would cost close to 20million pounds, I honestly think he's worth it, but it's still a lot for his age.

I'm just angry Sporting is attempting to make him a winger, when he'd be a really good roaming forward...exactly whats needed!

I watched the Madrid Derby and Koke looked quite good. Moves the ball quick, can beat a man and works hard. He scored a nice goal, too Nice, solid passing CM who plays out wide for them but is probably best served in a Guardiola style 4-3-3 as one of the two most attacking CM`s.. We really need to get at least one of him, Kroos or another CM who`s comfortable on the ball to play in front of either Carrick or Fellaini.

Coentrao was less impressive, but wasn`t actively bad. Felipe Luis will presumably be harder to prise away, as he is first choice there, but he had a very nice game both defending and attacking.

If we didnt get Felipe Luis a while ago, its too late now. He's been consistently good in Spain, despite one horror injry
