It would be interesting to see Totti at this World Cup but it will be a physical tournament and I don't know if he'll be able to compete.

might as well bring back Gattuso, Maldini, Inzaghi, Luca Toni, Del Piero, Zambrotta, and whoever else was any good for the Nat team.

The man has done enough let someone else bring italy glory.

Contrary to Prandelli's thoughts, even though Totti is the sentimental choice, I really think on a tactical level he would make a mistake in not taking Cassano. I love Totti and would love to see him in Brazil but seriously at 38 years of age? Sounds kind of strange to me.

The impact he has on the players around him is second to none. Look at how much Roma has been tooth less with out him. I honestly don't think it will happen but as long as he has the current form, he should play.

A friend of mine saw the old timers AC Milan team beat Iran 3-1 and he said Maldini and Nesta were simply class personified. If there are any Over 35's I'd trust, it would be those guys.

He was injured mostly but he still did pretty good. He just retired though because he got injured again. Poor guy has had like 9 injuries in 14 years.

Yes. He did not have Totti's longevity unfortunately.

He seemed to like Montreal though. Even Di Vaio.

Heh Well guess what, the city is flooded with "real" french people who can't find a job in their own country because it's run by idiots so they come to Montreal.

The first Italy game I ever watched was Italy Argentina in 1990. Only in 1994 did i really follow the tournament. I knew so little then.

Yes. I work in the financial markets and a lot of my colleagues are from France. Just like Italy and Spain, hard to make good money when you're young there.

Yes but I understood very little. I was 9 lol

Nothing gets me more fanatical than seeing the Azzurri play. That's why it would be orgasmic to see Totti show the world what he can do before he retires. Let's hope for a good recovery :D

What i read into this is that he is seriously considering Totti, but Cassano seems unlikely to be called.

Would be quite a contradiction if he didn't call up Cassano because he wanted to stick with the squad that qualified Italy to the WC, and then decided to call Totti.

Totti would bring a different element to this side. Rossi and Insigne play a similar role as Cassano. I like Cassano and wouldn't be upset if Prandelli brought him; however, we can live without him.
