Israel did a good job :)

we expected a 1-0 win and came out with a 2-0..

now we need to wait andsee how our counterparts, take down Swiss in Nicosica!

We should have won 4-0..then again, we should have won 8-0...
but who says we should? We want the 3 pts...thats all it matters

However, if Israel is tied with only one team on 18 points, they really might need to run up the score on Faroe at home to salvage their GD.

What a fluky goal for the Swiss. Deflected cross sails past stranded Cypriot keeper.

  22. Thanks, I meant an mms link or something. Just give us updates, then since you are fortunate enough to have it.

From the USA's standpoint, I'm rooting against France so the USA can get a seed. From Israel's standpoint, I'm rooting for the winner to defeat Switzerland and for Switzerland and the loser to draw. If this match (France/Ireland) is drawn, then I'm rooting for Switzerland to defeat both of them.

In that case, and assuming Israel defeats Faroe at home, and Cyprus loses all remaining matches, the results will be

    1. Winner 22
    2. Israel 18
    3. 17
    4. 17

and Israel will qualify for a playoff.

is there any chance that Israel will get a playoff spot that will make us the 'favourites' or anything?

Im scared we might get a gigantic team...possibly Greece, possibly Sweden or some other giant to play :(

If we can tie france or ireland twice, why can't we fair just as well with sweden or Greece

Anyway, mor e bad news, the swiss score again 3-1 '84
