The final was Israel 0-1 Greece with the goal in the 60th minute.

Bye Bye Fernandez....he is clueless, the squad lack any spine, lunge into tackles, and are woeful going forward. Even Benayoun didnt look that good, and he didnt even see enough of the ball for me...Maybe next qualifying campaign.

I don't know enough to blame the coach . . . but it's disappointing to be out of the tournament. FWIW, this board seems to under-rate Greece and Croatia, they're decent sides.

That was a pathetic performance. I watched the match on ESPN3 this morning. I can't believe how inept this team is. The defense is atrocious. I thought that Ben-Haim was okay, he has a lot of experience. But the others were getting burned.

Rami Gershon was probably our best player, along with Aouate. Maybe if Melikson or Vermut played it might have been different but there is no way that Israel deserved to win.

I was gonna go to Bloomfield to scalp some tix but decided not to last minute and it turns out right :S

Israel is summed up best by what my brother says: "They play great until they have to and then they suck"

I want to blame Fernandes but this is the same Israeli team for many years now. Bob Bradley might be a good option, they need to be more of a unit

This was very typical of them. Someone said on here that they play well against big teams. I disagree. They NEVER win those games. THey keep it close but they need to make the jump now -- to actually winning these games. The Greece game was 100 percent winnable. This game today is much harder -- and even two wins probably wont be enough.
