The team is on a roll and we take on one of our biggest rivals. Should be a rocking game. The emergence of Campos adds another dimension to our game.

No more excuses fans. Come out and support your soccer team.

    Let's go Railhawks!

At the home opener, I was shouting at Campos in Portuguese, telling him to hurry the hell up - he looked kinda lazy out there. Well, I'm pretty sure he was just getting used to what Martin wanted from him or something, because ever since game two he's been pretty solid. And while I couldn't make last night's game, the box score tells me he's more than just "pretty solid", and that he and Etienne make an awesome team.

Remember in the preseason, when we weren't getting any goals and Martin told the Independent he wasn't worried about his offense because "it hasn't arrived yet"? Yeah.

Indeed, should finally be a Saturday game with no major storms.

Thanks for lighting a fire under him. It seems to have worked! :D

I gotta miss the next two home games and I'm bummed. I'm glad we have the ticket exchange deal.

I take no credit for the results, but it was fun and he's doing quite well now.

So with Etienne's scoring streak extended to nine goals in seven games, I'm currently predicting another 2-1 win for Carolina - but it's certainly not going to be an easy one.

I think as long as we don't take a nap in the defensive third of the field we'll be fine. I'm hoping the Islanders will be tired from all the non-league games they've been through.

Everybody available for the match (except Bain, I guess)? Anybody out for PR?

He's our most impressive trick right now, but far from our only one. Campos and Zimmerman are also looking quite solid on the attack, and Knighton is among the best keepers in the league. Plus, Rusin's back line is not shabby either.

You guys were lucky to beat us the first time around. I think we are ready to lay the smack down this time around. Have you seen us play recently?

Have you seen the Islanders play an NASL game recently?

    Oh wait, they haven't.

Hey Intru, how's all the USL fallout effecting the Islanders? From what I've read, it sounds like a lot of bad blood is spilling in the press. Some of it directed toward you're guys.

    Fantastic game.

Crowd felt a lot bigger than announced number. I was really impressed with the turnout and even more so by the dominance of the RailHawks.

Great game last evening. Good to see the Jailhawks (??) back at it with the megaphone and all! Etienne with a brace and Campos with one. Could have easily been 5-0 if Campos had finished the second half chance and Zimmerman had a good opportunity too. A very composed performance from Steele. Maybe he is growing up :).

Hats off to my TSF boys for the Etienne Barbara 10 th goal special edition banner.

Felt good! What was the attendance number? Our side was pretty packed.

3498 - highest for a home league game in two years.
