T-shirt from an Impact fan at the Toronto FC 1-0 Montreal Impact game this week in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship. It has a list of all the opponents the Impact defeated or left behind in the last Concachampions. Great idea, don't you think? Does anyone have the right contacts to get the Islanders' version done?
Yeah and it's dumb. We didn't win anything, what was the achievement? Look, I'm about as happy as anyone that we managed to beat a Mexican team and some of those CA teams no one thought we could beat but we didn't win anything, wearing some cocky shirt celebrating some random matches doesn't mean anything for me. Nobody celebrates near-wins, near-titles. They celebrate titles and trophies. No one is going to celebrate that we finished second place in the CFU tournament, I'm not going to make a shirt for that.
Its pretty stupid. How bout' getting a store with regular team stuff first, like jerseys, posters, flags... and stuff to support the orange troop so they can win something that we can put in a dumb shirt
How would an expansion in merchandising help the club's winning volume? also, were on the way to a store. its about 2 weeks away. which is more than any major USA soccer club can say. how bout getting any given MLS team to open a store so that they can start winning tournaments?
