The fact that the majority of people believe that the Holocaust happened is inconsequential, so stop the persecution nonsense. What really matters is that the majority of the evidence points towards the fact that the Holocaust happened. To ignore countless testimonies and findings solely for the sake of promoting an anti-Israel agenda IS crank behavior.

As for as I'm concerned, Medina is a Jewish city which should be part of Israel.

    Isn't this fun?

Thank you for this. It's not about opinion, it's about fact. To believe otherwise requires the suspension of belief, or large quantites of ignorance... or drugs.

IMO the real crank behaviour is ignoring ALL the evidence for Nazi persecution of Gypsies, homosexuals and others. To ignore conutless testimones and findings solely for the sake of promoting Pro-Israeli agenda is crank behavior. And its not I who used the holocaust for some kind of political agenda, its the Jews, or else that period would have been known as a period of almost all-inclusive persecution of minorities and the disadvantaged by Nazis, and not just "The Holocaust".

Besides, I dont deny it... theres a difference between completely denying Jews were targetted by Hitler for extermination, and stating that the so-clled "gas chambers" werent always used to Kill, but were also used to de-louse the Jews.

    http://www.remember.org/educate/b3mg0018.html

Stuff like that SHOULD be discussed in the Irani conference. And if not Iran, then in Europe but they should get rid of silly anti-holocaust laws

    Not at all.

You didn't provide any link to back what you said and I objected (for example: jews have bought the land). i did. Those numbers are official statistical numbers (UK), mideastweb didn't invent it.

By your way of reasoning I could say aliens are around us and then dismiss any source you present denying it. I have my source and you have yours.

To think that "jews had bought the land" is detached from reality as much as saying that aliens are around us or that the Holocaust is a myth.

And this is where we tend to agree.

This doesn't mean history is not important.

A fair account of history is useful to show all the parts made wrongs and suffered wrongs and that an agreement would be nearer if both the parts acknoweledge it.

That is the main purpose of mideastweb.org and that is also why I appreciate that site so much (and everyone sane should IMO). I agree totally with their way of seeing history and its role.

    http://www.mideastweb.org/briefhistory.htm

It would be wrong to try to use this history to determine "who is right," though many "histories" have certainly been written by partisans of either side, with precisely that purpose in mind.

Those who are interested in advocacy, in collecting "points" for their side, cannot find the truth except by accident. If they find it, and it is inconvenient, they will bury it again.

This account intends to inform, and nothing more.

    I did 3 days ago.

Aren't conferences just an excuse for professionals to get away from their spouses, get drunk and oogle strippers?

This isn't the same kinda conference? Ah...I'll skip it then.

    who is ignoring this?

Again, stop talking out of your @ss. Who is ignoring these testimonies?

Yes, cuz 6 million people of each minority were slaughtered during the Nazi regime. I'm not saying other minorities mean less than Jews, but if we are talking pure numbers, it's not even close.

if Iran cares how the Nazi processed cloth and need a special conference for that, than that country is more fcuked up than i thought. IIRC, the conference is not on "cloth" ovens, it's on Holocaust in general.

I found this to be of interest. BTW I like the site, it is pretty good.

You can see here that the intent to create Israel happened well before WWII and the Holocaust so to say that the idea for creating Israel is based solely on the Holocaust is inaccurate and ill-informed.

Who's denying that the Nazis murdered thousands of homosexuals, Roma, and Communists? Nobody.

    sardus...

    1) I will acknowledge that you did answer the question at hand. I didn't realize that.

    2) I have many, many sources, but you won't accept them. Would you still like me to provide them. A simple google search will easily provide them for you, besides the ones I've already read.

    3) Your "facts" are not facts that answer the question. I never denied that the arabs outnmumbered the Jews. I said, and still maintain, based on evidence, that the area allocated to the Jews were only those areas where Jews were a majority. I will not argue this again.

Moreover, your 8% figure includes what has become Jordan. In addition, Your figures ignore the effect that the suppression of Jewish immigration had.

Again at the end of the day, Israel is here. Deal with it.

Of course. I never questioned that. I have an idea of when, where and why zionism took birth. I objected only to some inaccurate historical facts.

Anyway the need of a jewish homeland came mostly because of centuries and centuries of racism, persecution and pogroms.
If it was not the main motive for all the ideologues, it was surely for the common people.

And the holocaust in all his tragedy actually had a huge role in shaping the post WW2 zionism and the attitude of the world towards the zionism. UN 47 included.

I am not the one who needs some doctored historical fact to prove something so I don't give a great importance to the fact that "the jews bought the land" or not.

Only the glorious russian armada, always in search of ugly antisemites, looks like Israel's existence depends on the validity of that kind of claims.

And actually revisionists are those that believe that kind of propaganda myths to be true. it never was true history. Not vice versa..

No, I believe that you have an unfortunate tendency, which stems from your staunch anti-Israeli position, regardless of what you say about objectivity.
That tendency is to partake in any argument involving the Middle East, no matter how indefensible the discussed dees or statements from Israel's enemies may be, latch on to a piece of pro-Israel rhetoric you consider arguable and run it into the ground to the point that everyone forgets what the original discussion was about.
No matter what is being discussed, you always find a reason to be on one side of the barricades (so to say). The motives behind this may be what they are. They may or may not be rooted in latent anti-Semitism, and I am not about to start this debate as well. But it is undeniable that, far from being objective, you have picked your side and will stick with them through thick and thin.

Now, let us suppose you and Andy Bennett are 100% correct about the history of the creation of Israel. Let us suppose the UN desision to create the state of Israel was not based on sound logic at the time. Let us even suppose that Holocaust is indeed a myth and as such even the rationale behind the UN desision of 1947 was wrong.

Here and now, what does it matter?

I believe you have an unfortunate tendency to put words (and ideas) into the others mouth (and brain) and then starting from that your fantasy runs wild.

I also believe you have an unfortunate tendency to make insinuations.

And I believe you have a tendency to never discuss the real topic but to intervene with this kind of personal attacks.

And I guess it is because of your staunch anti-palestinian position.

You are the one who are in the barricades, warrior. I want that barricades to be dismantled. You did chose the words well. It shows your mindset and explains why you don't understand my position.

And if it was for me the off topic discussion would have ended with my second post.

Only paranoids can think I was picking the side of Ahmadinejad because I corrected some inaccurate history on the israeli-palestinian conflict.

Not only because the things I objected had nothing to do with the topic. Also because in my second post I made it clear what I thought about the topic.

Should I really answer the same questions 10 times in the same thread?

Should I really care to reply your usual personal attacks with the same old annoying insinuations?
You don't need an answer, you don't really want an answer. If it was so I already answered. Your only aim is to discredit me.

I hope it is not a general characterial habit and it's just because you have nothing to object on the topic itself but you still think there's the need to someway counter me and my "dangerous" posts.

Coming from someone from a country where women aren't allowed to drive that hurts. It really does.
