any idea when the usa is going to officially release their jerseys? imagine at this point they won't be wearing them for the italy game wednesday, since i figured somewhere along the way word would have come out about that.

well, to answer my own question, and for any yanks out there.. eurosport/soccer.com's facebook page says USA jersey will be unveiled at 2:30 pm est. AND, it's on facebook, so it must be true.

 

Indeed. USA will meet Italy in a friendly today at 2:30. They're expected to take the field in the new shirt.

 

yeah, i was just surprised they waited until today to announce they'd unveil them. like it was some huge secret that every team on earth was getting a new kit.

How do the NIKE Authentic jerseys fit? Am wondering as I'm about to buy an Authentic red USA and don't want to get 1 that fits too small. I have always just gotten the $80 versions rather than the Code7 type.

 

They fit better than the Addidas authentics. Addidas is always buy one size larger. With Nike, you would be good with your usual size, but its encouraged to buy one size larger.

 

I'll never understand why Addidas Authentic jerseys are only $90, while Nike Authentic jerseys are $150.

 

yeah, it's like $120 for an adidas authentic, and then $150 for authentic techfit. nike just doesn't have something in between replica and their authentic player issue jerseys like adidas does.

 

Are Nike Authentics comparable to Techfits? In that they fit tighter? Or are they more like Formotion?
