i love the US away kit.

people are pretty fickle. they'll complain that the shirt is too simple. and when a company goes outside the box a bit, they still complain.

That new England shirt looks like a cheap imitation of an old Poland away shirt.

i'm near certain this will be the usa away kit, since i received the new eastbay catalog in the mail, and it had a picture of the same jersey on display with brazil and france for order. they certainly love the diagonal stripe already..

wouldn't be as bad if the red/white piping was removed from the collar/neck area. Looks like some bad rec jersey.

    Touché!

it looks better in a real life pic, but still don't know. i really don't like the color. if they wanted to incorporate red that badly, they could've done a stripe on the sleeve. already has the dual colored sleeve like arsenal's, so why not go the extra step

nike has really only done consistently good work at the national team level with the Netherlands and now France. the big money teams, US and Brazil, leave a lot to be desired. Still. :(

the usa 3rd jersey was nice, but it was more of the same. just a different color.

france really has pulled away in terms of the class of nike kits. they're so clean and classy. and the new dutch away kit is awesome. it's pretty simple, but that orange square above the number just sets it off. I think for brazil, they try to keep it a simple and relative design to their past, which i can completely respect. i mean, you can't really mess with greatness. although, the teal one kit.. ehhhhh.

i think that one is actually a training top. or a pre-game warm up top.

that entire set with the "download" bar was widely ridiculed in brazil. easily the worst Nike kit Brazil has worn since the 2002-04 "circle numbers" kit, which many other teams had used. thankfully, that was the last time Nike really went straight up cookie cutter with their national teams.

    apologies :)

what other away color has brasil gone with in the past? i'd like to see a green or white based away kit.

that australia one is pretty boss. i like the metallic navy/gray look.

it's been blue since 1958. used to be white, but that color was abandoned since brazil lost the WC final in 1950 wearing white.

i doubt it will ever change from blue.
