In England if you classify Scotland Wales and Ireland as foreigners you end up with a high number of foreigners. But the roster are not posted at all except for Arsenal and Everton because they are in the Champions League. Most other transfers are not official basically. For example Arsenal's 25 squad list has 4 Irish 2 Welsh and 4 Scottish. Chelsea has 3 Welsh and a new zeleander There is a French girl in Bundesliga don't know her name though and one in Bundesliga 2 Marina Makanza in Fribourg.
You are right. Many are on teams accepted into England's new professional Super League to commence play in March 2011. According to the FA website, the Super League was delayed one year due to the worldwide economic recession. International Players Playing in England: 31 (approx. no.)* Wales 18 Scotland 6 Ireland 4 Canada 2 New Zealand 1 Zimbabwe 1 *Women Soccerway, websites of Super League teams

Japan has 4 players in WPS and 3 in the Bundesliga? WPS: Yamaguchi, Sawa, ?, ? Bundesliga: Ando, Nagasato, ? Miyama has (apparently permanently) returned to Japan from WPS, I assume that's not considered in the list yet. But who are the other 2?
The initial post referenced the list as of 9/1/10. Since then Miyama (Atlanta) and Maruyama (Philadelphis) have returned to Japan. As of 9/1/10 Women Soccerway listed players from Japan playing on Turbine Potsdam (Y. Nagasato), FCR Duisburg (K. Ando) and FFC Frankfort (J. Mi Lee). Correct if wrong.
Women Soccerway lists the following player from China playing on Umea in the Swedish Damallsvenskan. Xiaoxo Ma DOB: June 5, 1988 Age 22 Attacker
i know this.it happened in 2008,from April to July.but now it isn't. if they record by this, what about Handuan? she played in WPS last year?
You are right. Jang-Mi Lee is from the Korea Republic (South Korea) and she no longer plays for FFC Frankfurt.
Thanks for the correction. From Wikipedia: Ma Xiaoxu (Chinese: 马晓旭, nicknamed Chinese Female Wayne Rooney, born 1988) is a female Chinese football (soccer) player playing for the Dalian Shide club. Signed a contract with Umeå IK in Sweden on February 5, 2007. Honors Player of the Tournament at the AFC Women's Asian Cup, 2006 Golden Shoe Winner and Golden Ball Winner of the 2006 FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship AFC Women's Player of the Year, 2006 Asian Young Footballer of the Year, 2006 You are also right that Han Duan played with the LA Sol in the 2009 WPS season. This list was compiled as of 9/1/10. There are some errors because not all rosters were updated by 9/1/10.
The Portuguese player Edite Fernandes, playing in Norway (for Donn), has quit, according to her own blog. She is returning either to Spain or Portugal. The first of several foreigners, as previously mentioned.
I'm trying to figure out which Bundesliga player you mean. Any idea who she plays for? And Freiburg actually has three French players (if Alsace counts as France ): apart from Makanza, there are also Stéphanie Wendlinger and Jeanne Haag.
