You called out a group, and I'm going to defend it from false generalizations. Sorry if that bothers you. Or to quote you ... "excuuuuuuuuuse me." Someone here even comes close to questioning Revs fans at midfield, and you're one of the first people blasting them, but then you have no problem taking a shot at people yourself, and when corrected, respond with the snide "excuuuuuuuuuse me." Got it.
I'm bummed. I booked my flight to Columbus for early on Tuesday just so I could go to this game, as it was originally rumored to be on Monday night.
I will be shocked if this game is played on grass Revs play Saturday Night(could be on grass) Brazil/Portugal Tuesday Night Pats play less than 48 hours later on Thursday Night at home vs Jets in the home opener NFL rules state Home Field has to be ready for visiting team to use for a practice 30 hours prior to kick off .
It's just a shame that anyone who's a fan of us soccer will be busy watching the most antcipated game of the World Cup cycle that night.
Can one of the STH please share the ticket price list for the Brazil Portugal game? I wonder why they moved it from the 9th given the conflict with USMNT, and that bot federations confirmed it as the 9th. Thanks
Congrats - regardless of the fact I'll be glued to the US/Mexico game that night (as will most here), it's still a coup to get those 2 teams for KSG. This will easily sell out. So that's 68k x tickets x concessions & merch x $40 to park for x% - I'd be grinning ear to ear too!
USAlite v Spain pricing was: $495 On-Field Seats $395 Front Row Sidelines $295 Front Row Endlines $165 Midfield Club Seats $135 Sideline Club Seats, Lower Midfield Seats $95 Lower Sideline Seats $65 Lower Corner Seats, Upper Midfield Seats $50 Lower Endlines, Prime Mezzanine Corners, Upper Sidelines $40 Mezzanine Corners, Upper Corners
Damn my going to Columbus for the US game will be cheaper overall than going to Foxboro (17 miles from my house)
$50 is pretty pricey for a friendly although the atmosphere will be solid. USMNT vs. Mexico that night along with being on a weeknight makes the decision to NOT attend match easier. Still TBD as I might break down to get my fix of some Int'l football.
I know this gets said everytime one of these big friendlies rolls through town, but it's very interesting to see who is/isn't interested in these types of affairs. It seems like most diehard Revs fans just aren't that excited for a game like this; meanwhile there are tens of thousands of people who can't be bothered with the Revs but will go out and spend hundreds of dollars to attend this one game. It's interesting, and arguably the biggest issue facing the Revs and MLS as a whole.
