i seriously think SHM is trying to be like ronaldo too much. it's good to model his game as an inside forward after him but he just doesn't have cristiano's natural flair and ball skills. his replica celebrations are too funny for me.
To JSR's credit that's one thing he does have over KSG... his goal kicks tend to be strong enough for plays such as that. IIRC the KJC goal against Japan came through a similar pattern. Might be something Hong values in JSR more than we think...

Actually, there was one moment in the first half where Son DID do a bunch of step overs in middle of nowhere. Although at like 5 times slower speed than CRon... kind of cracked me up actually
only LSW has the audacity and raw talent to potentially pull a move off like that. the day a korean scores a goal like this for the national team.. i think i might literally jizz.

After today, I don't see the harm in trying PJH at LB either. Its not like we got a stud LB back there (or RB or CH for that matter).

LCY should've scored too. It's not as if a crossbar hit is an automatic goal. Had he aimed lower, JSR or one of the defenders on the line might've been able to clear it.
Watching this does show that PJY is a bit slower than his usual self. I'd say maybe a step or a half step slower than usual, but that's understandable I guess considering his situation. Still plays his role better than anyone we have though.
I'm not too worried about Asian based players like Young Kwon, Jin Su, Han. Their seasons have yet to start/just started.
He's always been one of the faster, if not one of the fastest, Korean footballers. I'm glad he scored today. Hope it helps his confidence and his loan stay with Watford.
