dats messed up how are you going to call someone up fresh from an injury ? Why not give someone else a chance ? Prandelli is full of shit. "la nazionale 'e aperto per tutti" ma va cagare va.

You would think he would call up Cannavaro now that he is a regular with Sassuolo.

No if he didn't get a call up 3 years ago it was never going to happen. I do think lucarelli should be given a chance.

'Pogba can't just rely on his ability'
    By Football Italia staff
    [IMG]
Didier Deschamps has issued a word of warning to Paul Pogba if he is to succeed at this summer’s World Cup.

The Juventus midfielder scored in France’s 4-0 win over Norway on Tuesday night, but came in for criticism for his lackadaisical performance.

And the national team Coach has admitted that the youngster can’t just rely on his athletic and technical ability.

“For him it is all so easy,” the tactician told reporters. “He has incredible athleticism and is amazing in terms of overall quality.

“But that is not enough in this game. Concentration and application should not be underestimated – especially at this level.

“Paul is aware of all of this though.”

Professor Cugat, who operated on Vidal's knee was quoted in an article saying that by playing Vidal before July 7th will open a "Risk to injure the knee again"

    F&CK!

u know chile aint gonna sit him out...he's gonna play...we gotta pray they exit first round. theres a good chance since they have spain and holland in their group. as much as i was rooting for chile cuz of Vidal, his health is more important to me. i rather they exit and he stays injury free.

Chile's midfield star Arturo Vidal is a doubt to face Australia in Cuiaba as he battles a knee inflamation, La Roja's medical staff revealed at their Belo Horizonte camp on Sunday morning.

Vidal only just made the squad to face the Australians, Spain and the Netherlands following knee surgery last month and he is still recuperating.

"The tests showed up inflammation from the surgery, albeit within the expected parameters at this stage of recovery" from the surgery, said team doctor Giovanni Carcuro.

He insisted: "We are calm because there is only low level inflammation, which is normal."
