Am I alone in thinking that the Israeli national team players are a disgrace for even caring about how much they get paid for playing for their country? These players earn more than enough playing for their various clubs - its not like they play in a semi-pro league. They have the honour of representing their country, and should not even consider asking for payment for such an act. I don't think I shall be able to look at the likes of Avi Nimni et al. with the same respect from now on
it is disgraceful but its the only way they'll play at the european level and the results weren't too bad
