As the EPL season winds down, we annually start this thread to let current All Rocks managers express their intent to continue. We also get some new manager candidates making a post of their interest in joining us next season. Aviators plans on returning next season. All my contact information is the same as was shared when we began the season. Request each All Rocks manager express their intent to continue or not, and if intend to continue, to send me a PM with their latest contact info, especially if email addresses have changed. To help me keep things straight, include your current team name and 2011-12 All Rocks Division. I'll keep a spreadsheet and send a shout out email reminder when we kick off the formal commitment for next season. Fantasy Soccer Managers who want to be considered for joining our draft leagues should do the following: First, read the sticky threads at the top of this forum where we explain our history and how we operate. Note that only managers who COMMIT to staying active the entire EPL season should apply. Second, if interested, post your interest in this thread and send me, Hal, a private message with the following information: First and Last Name Email Address (one that will be good around mid July) Location City, State, Country, Time Zone (We're interested in the Time Zone you'll be drafting from) Big Soccer nickname (mine is Hal) Best way to contact you to alert you when we are forming our leagues for next year.
BiggerBoat will be back for sure and certain.... I am only 40% though my 5 year plan of going from Splinters League to winning Small Rocks
In again with no change in my info. I'll be MIA until mid-late July as usual. Don't try to kick me out for being a few days late, ok? I saw Ing saved me in the past and since he won't be back...
Looking forward to calling Cannon at work again when he unwittingly answers a Los Angeles area code. Sasha Juniors will be in again and simply will not pick Lampard for the squad for the 4th year in a row.
Not cool, man. First rule of covert action club is you do not talk about covert action club. Shush. Yeah thanks for that. Call forwarding offers up some surprises at times. Still beats Hal's "urgent action necessary now" calls Jedi Knights FC we'll accept but don't even try Jedi Masters FC.
I'm...out, as I announced in the VSR thread. Around September of next year I'm going to be one of those kids with the violin lessons watching all of you through my window having fun outside. The leggy Italian number is all but out of my life, but she was just one of a few distractions. So have fun all of you! And may next year be the first in many in which you can find quality forwards once yours end up banned for something said to Evra, or for any of the 20 things Balotelli did this year, my favorite being the fireworks out the bathroom window trick.
Sorry to be taking my leave guys. It's been a fun... what, 13 years? I've lost track since our first season. Glad to see things continuing to grow and thrive. I just wish I still had the same time and energy I used to for this league. So I leave with maybe a cup or two, but strangely my near-misses remain my proudest accomplishment. I can't imagine many teams have more league runners-up medals than me. It was for a long time my customary position, and I think my position this year is all the proof I need that my passion has faded for the whole fantasy football thing. Best to leave before it feels like a burden rather than a bit of fun. So thanks, particularly to the other "founding fathers," for all the laughs over the years. Watch out for assclowns as you recruit new members.
I hadn't thought about the great Assclown debacle in ages. I forgot about the second assclown until I looked it up. The foul history of Assclown FC should be required reading for new members.
I've got a new player to sponsor for Dust league next year: FC Real United, who has dominated my yahoo league for the last few years. He should be introducing himself here soon.
No brother to pick on, but I'll be back. Just need another draft which produces the FPL leading scorer. Any ideas for next year?
In - No changes...(DO NOT POST MY LAST NAME ON THE ROSTER LIST! Being a teacher I'd rather not have my students find me on here via Google.)
I play in a Yahoo EPL league with Scott King and he told me about your league. I would like to be considered for 12-13. I play to win, and did win Scott's league this year and two years ago. First Name: Bob E-mail: bobfest@yahoo.com NJ USA Eastern Time ID: bobfest Contact me via e-mail for all alerts. Thanks.
Contrary to what I predicted, Dennis (DenocMuppet) has indicated he will return for 2012-2013 season. You can take this as his "entry" as he struggles to get on this site at work etc.. I will email him instructions but don't hold you breath.
