We're Philadelphia fans. That would endear a booing so loud and harsh, it would make Santa Claus look like, well, Santa Claus!

Let's start with two outside backs playing ole defense. Luke Young has been horrible. Reo-Coker is a middie playing back because of a gross lack of depth.

The final score was worse than the game. While Carew was in there, Villa had offense.

2 were Gerrard penalty kicks...good luck with that.

1 one was a ridiculous (I think goal kick or punt) kick from Riena to Riera that was a miracle goal.

Otherwise it woulda been 2-0 and even at that Riena had some really good saves on AV's forwards.

I was simply making a point about our fans. There wasn't squat Brad could have done on the second or fourth. The third and fifth were both PK's and Freidel wasn't on the field for #5. I disagree with Brad being sent off after gettting run over inside the area as well. Mind you, I did not see the match, but I did quickly catch the highlights on FSC.com. Is Freidel still active for the USMNT? I know he's not on the roster for Saturday, but I remember both he and Keller doing some amazing work between the pipes in years past.

friedel retired after the 2002 world cup....

keller, more often than not, was the usa #1....

friedel concentrated on club from then on...

    guzan is friedel's caddy now..

should be noted the red card friedel got was rescinded..

so then they'll go back and replay the portion of the game where guzan had to come in, and the PK doesn't count, right?

Stop. Even in pro wrestling, the referee's descision is always final.

I thought the NYC flag colors were a darker blue (more like navy) and orange (not yellow). I'm confused.

A crown? a rose? And a rediculous soccer ball just to top off a farce of a logo. i understand a small ball here and there but when a logo has a big soccer ball on it I just have to

it's pretty bad, but the crown and rose/tulip is from the
    flag of Queens...it's not europosing...i swear..hehe..

    Re: Logo/Kit Discussion (Part 3)

But, oddly, the team isn't actually playing in Queens. I mean, if you are going to take imagery from a city where the team won't actually play, why use just one borough, why not use the NYC flag? Seems odd unless the team plans to play some games in Queens itself.

Truth be told, if our owners want to use those colors I don't see them stopping because of a USL-1 club.
