I'd drink too if I had to witness what undoubtedly transpires on the Sporting Kansas City training ground on a daily basis. Can you imagine watching them trying to self-govern themselves day in and day out? Oh the furious gesticulations these eyes have seen....
He's still being punished for having a million dollar shot on his foot, only to hit Walter Zenga in the ass.
Sharting just signed another center back, Yann Songo'o. I guess they're going for the 8-1-1 formation next year.
Portland is supposedly swapping allocation spots with TFC as part of an attempt to bring in Diskerud. http://www.soccerbyives.net/2012/12/breaking-timbers-lining-up-move-for-diskerud.html
"The initiation actually came from the Livestrong foundation, whose officials informed the team this week that the club had only paid $250,000 of the $1 million that it owed the foundation in 2012." http://espn.go.com/sports/endurance...er-sporting-kc-end-stadium-naming-rights-deal KC sounds just like the Union when it comes to paying taxes.
Here's what you would have found if you'd dug a little deeper.............. If you'd only clicked on the link to the article that your link was based on................ you'd know that these are PAYMENTS in LIEU of PROPERTY TAXES.......
I know that they're not a rival, but, man, watching Chivas USA this year is going to be pure comedy gold. I can't wait until they come here and we put a 6-spot on them.
Clicked on this article which is on the left hand side of the article you linked to. I guess this is why the Lukoil station by PPL has the Tastykakes behind bulletproof glass?
Cool little thing in today's edition of The Kick Off: this site shows aerial pictures of all 18 MLS stadiums. Unfortunately PPL Park had a tarp on the field at the time. Still, PPL is definitely one of the nicer stadiums in MLS. Edit: Another cool thing they linked to was the "top 100 stadium experiences" in the country. Everything from the NFL to tennis, auto racing, and college sports are included. Two MLS teams made it, Seattle and Portland. The thing I object to is, the 76ers are on there. Who in their right mind would say that the Wells Fargo center is a better experience than PPL Park?
