It's now 18 years / no cups....... We chant with the future in mind, assuming that all of their futile efforts and signings this offseason will just lead to yet another season of comical disappointment.
When I saw him practically crying at the end of that game, I said aloud, "Come to the Union, and we'll dry those tears with a championship. You'll never win one in New York."
This gave me a chuckle: There's no "i" in team; there's no "RBNY" in playoffs. #NYvDC— Union Rumors (@UnionRumors) November 9, 2012 Listening to the one of the latest March to the Match podcasts on the way in the morning, and they're talking about how Montreal should make a run at Le Toux. smh
I liked the blurb in the Wilmington paper in which the Red Bulls announced they were giving a percentage of last night's proceeds and a percentage of the proceeds from the conference final game held at RBA to Hurricane Sandy relief. First of all, there were about 100 people at the game last night, and second, they expected to be in the conference finals??? Talk about your empty gestures.
Well, at least they didn't go around showing mock-up shirts with the championship star above the crest ...
It's from a couple years ago as part of their playoff marketing campaign. Knowing their history the cocky bastards actually thought they had a snowballs chance in hell at winning it all. Ah, good times. Good times.
really? because they want to ruin your life? That is lame. Is MLS calling the SOBs next because they need to change their acronym?
They're not brass, they're carbon-fiber ... so the metal detectors don't go off. Plus, they couldn't find clip art of lead-lined cop gloves.
MLS likes to look correct but I think in this instance the comma should be omitted. Just think if they would have done it the English way of 1 December!
