I just read the news this morning and quite surprised because Indonesian F.A (PSSI), Called up 8 Players that has Indonesian Descent or who are playing abroad to join the Indonesian U-23 TC for the Olympic 2012 and SEA Games 2011. Here are the name of the 8 Players :

1. Syamsir Alam (PENAROL/URUGUAY)

He is Indonesia's most promising young footbaall player. Spent 3 years with Indonesia u-17 who plays in Uruguayan League, now he is on loan with Uruguayan Giants, A.C PENAROL.

2. Syaffarizal Mursalin Agri (AL Khor/Qatar)

Another young Indonesian Player who is playing abroad. Both of his parent are Indonesian, but he lives in Qatar because his dad has a job there. He's been living in Qatar since the age of 4.

3. James Zaidan Saragih (NY Cosmos/ USA)

His parents are Indonesian but living in NY. He was born in NY so automatically he is a U.S citizen. He is willing to become Indonesian Citizen and join the national team.

4. Arthur Irawan (on trial with NOrth Preston End/ ENGLAND)
I know nothing about this player.

 

5. Andrea Bitar (FC CANNES/FRANCE)
His parents are french so does he. But he's been living in Indonesia for 17 years. Now Andrea willing to play for Indonesian NT. Actually I also know nothing about this player.

6. Stefano Lilipaly (FC Utrecht/HOLLAND)

He's got Indonesian heritage and playing for FC Utrecht Junior at the moment. Also a current Holland U-21!

7. Mark Van De Maarel (FC Utrecht/Holland)

He also got Indonesian Heritage, he is playing on the 1st team of FC Utrecht and also a current member of Holland U-21!

8. Oliver Rifai (AZ Alkmaar/Holland)

He is still very young, His dad is Indonesian and his mom is dutch. A former member of Holland u-17.

And for Indonesia NT 3 Dutch players with Indonesian heritage will get their Indonesian Passport/Citizenship soon. They are Sergio Van Dijk (Passport will be issued around February 2011), Raphael Guillermo Maitimo (Passport will be Issued around February 2011), Johnny Van Beukering (Passport will be issued around April 2011), So hopefully there will be no delay and they can play in the upcoming matches for Indonesia, especially the World Cup Qualifying.

 

LPI is a new league, The league is the brainchild of oil tycoon Arifin Panigoro, and he says he intends it to improve football in the region, he wants to make Indonesian clubs become professional. Because ISL the official league that formed by Indonesian FA is not fully professional, their biggest income is from the fund of government.

LPI is just like A-league, each club will have 1 marquee player. So far LPI has attracted names like Amancio Fortes (ANgola/SEMARANG UNITED), Richard Knoppers (Holland/PSM MAKASSAR), Lee Hendrie (ENgland/BANDUNG FC), AMaral (Brazil/Manado United).

news from Indonesia U-23 TC, 2 DUtch players that has Indonesian Heritage will join the Indonesian U-23 squad for the next SEA Games tournament. They both playing as a defender. They are :

If East Bengal is looking for point for this match, they should attacking from the first minute, Persipura is a team that kinda slow to get their game on. I am still thinking Persipura will win probably 2-0

There are 4 other Indonesian-Dutch Players still waiting for their Indonesian Passports ( Johnny Van Beukering, Sergio Van DIjk, Tonnie Cusset, Stefano Lilipaly)
