A couple more of those will really help us in our quest for top four (sorry people, we're not in a title race and champions league is our number one priority).

    There's also this: f**k sp*rs.

Would never root for United. There are other games I will root against Spurs. What would help us is NOT losing to QPR and drawing Southampton.

    Totally understand.

My own hierarchy of disliked teams runs something like this.
    Leeds
    Sp*rs
Chelsea (bloody hate us sometimes :D)
    QPR
    Arsenal
    West Ham
    Man City
    Liverpool
    Man United

Motson with his 53rd pronunciation of Kagawa: Ki-gui-way. Who knew it was such a difficult name to pronounce?

How is motty these days, haven't heard him in ages. The FSC crew keep calling the Utd manager, Alec.

Pleasantly surprised the FSC crew got that close.

FSC is Jon Champion and David Pleat. Of course Pleat gets everyone's name wrong. I like Champion, though.

You are right. I meant Pleat and not Motson (and I thought Herr Boots was refering to FSCs studio crew). Apologies to all.

Been massively impressed by Carrick. Literally doing it by himself at times. Excellent ball retention, good passing execution/decision making, and great at covering passing lanes. Jones has also been quite good as well. Excellent athlete and had solid passing, rarely overplaying.

    I hate them both though.

Its just a marginal difference .....

Edit: To be fair to him, he kept United from losing today.

Based on that logic, Valdes would be the greatest keeper in the world. Okay.

okocha, I can see people hating Jones but hating Carrick especially as a non-england NT supporter? Pretty non controversial and stays out of the limelight both on and off the pitch.

The goal was on Rafael and Valencia, the latter competing with Torres as probably the most useless player in any of the top 3 teams over this season. DDG made 2 fantastic saves, to keep the 3 points in play until injury time if anything.

Decent result but still 2 dropped points. Spurs fans continue to get more cnuttish as their team improves, spending the whole game complaining about the ref rather than supporting their own team. And less said about Pleat, the better.

I say "hate" in jest (probably should have inserted a smiley). Beside that, I could be justified in a little dislike. They do play for the Mancs (no offense :sneaky:).

I do admire Carrick's game, have since he played for Spam and then Spuds.
