It would be interesting if there was a mike on Navarro to know if there actually was a whistle before the shot.
These knuckleheads can "Ole" all they want... the bottom line is that the little "burros" from north of their border are knipping at their heels... they better get in as many "Oles" as they can right now... the pendulum is swinging back against them and it's going to end up kicking them in the face in the not so distant future...
Trolls aside I think we need to be mindfull that we are all in Houstons board, and their hearts have got to be in thier throats/broken. Have some class...
Re: bye H-town They're a bit over halfway done with their second season. The Mexican league plays a split season format.
Nothing wrong with extra time there - it was 10 seconds - 90% of refs would have allowed that drive to finish before blowing the whistle. It was combination piss poor defending and excellent shot. Glad DeRosario is out - nothing against his play - just that he was spent. Admirable effort by Houston - playing preseason, extra time at 8000 ft. Still, it is inexcusable to give up 5 goals when you are up 2-0 agg - very poor coaching strategy. BTW - I thought both PK's were legit.
get used to him, US will be facing him in the Copa America, along with Calero (goalie) and Chitiva (#10). toodles
chill man that ole thing is just an appreciation from the crowd for a good run of play... theyll even do it when theyre losing
