Wolfsburg have a team good enough for top 8. However, Hecking is a coach for small clubs , not ambitious ones. He needs to go. He will never bring the club where they want to be. Dont know what Allofs was thinking with that appointment. I was very skeptical when I first heard he was going to be the coach.

I like Dieter Hecking. However, I also believe you are spot on.

That's probably why the match reports said Wolfsburg was lucky to lose by only two goals.

And that's probably why the match stats say something entirely different. If one or two stats say something, it is easy to say 'Numbers lie" and be correct. If Wolfsburg were "lucky" to have only lost by two goals, there's something terribly wrong with them. WHICH THERE IS!

Look, I said "I'm betting." I think this makes it clear I didn't see the match. That's your club. I get it. Doesn't change what I thought based on what I have saw of them previously. Match reports. I used to write those too. They're another man's opinion.

Savor the victory man. You'll probably need to.

Meh, even if Eintracht goes down with 4 points it wouldn't bother me. Not that I think they will, though. The team always needed to adapt to the Bundesliga - the majority of the startes has already played in the third division with the club. A lot of Eintracht's problems came down to inexperience at this level and later a certain lack of confidence. Now that Eintracht's gameplan has finally worked perfectly for a game I am pretty optimistic.

Wolfsburg completed the signing of De Bruyne for 22 million € + 5 million € additional bonus payments.

Nice to see the boy back in the BL, not so nice to see him at a plastic club.

Looking back at my comment about Hecking 3 months later, it's not looking good :D He's done a very good job the last few months. He clearly has players good enough for the top 7 and he hasn't underachieved. Now with De Bruyne at the club maybe they can even surpass Gladbach and finish in the top 4. Things change quickly in football.

I hope Wolfsburg make the CL. They were the first BL game I ever attended.

Yeah, bring them in, they fit perfectly in. Let them join a CL winner that has to send its season ticket holders letter to bring them into the stadium and a pharma industry club. Ok, Dortmund breaks the phalanx, so lets substitute them by Hoffenheim and you have clubs in there the BL can be proud of: No real fans, no atmosphere, no passion, only commerce and toys of suggardaddies (Leverkusen, VW, Hoppenheim) and criminals (Bayern).

If a CL game is played in Wolfsburg, does it make a sound?

There is an open air pool at the Weser next the Weserstadion to do so. ;)

And about Wolfsburg: I 'll come along from time to time and make some plastic club comments.

I was at the Weserstadion a long time ago. They were playing Freiburg and it was right before Kehl made the switch to Dortmund. Game ended 1-1 I think, Richard Golz was still the goalie. Nonetheless, Bremen stayed my most disliked German team while H96 and Wolfsburg became my 2nd favorite teams :p

I am not surprised. With Bayern as your favorite team you already showed no good taste. ;)

Well, but if you add two of, say St. Pauli, Rasenball Leipzig or Hoffenheim or so, it could still become the Royal Flush of shitty clubs in Germany!
