If everything goes to plan, AP will be the third-longest tenured coach in the EPL behind Wenger and Pulis. Or 4th longest if Wigan stay up.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Oops, I missed Mancini on the list. So 4th, unless Brighton come up.

Villa 1-2 Chelsea. We win we're safe. Simple, right? Ha.

We win. SMB get a dagger in the back and draw. I'm ok with today's results

Are we hoping Wigan win tomorrow night to keep it interesting for the final day?

Give us a chance to knock Arsenal out of CL and let Villa and the scum sweat on the last day?

    I'd love it.

I want Wigan to stay up and Arsenal to miss out on the CL.

I want Arsenal to be in the CL and Wigan to stay up. Guess I'm fooked. :D

However if we want to be the spoilers then I would think we need Arsenal to beat Wigan first. If they draw or lose to Wigan then the dirty Spurs would control their own fate and our game with Arsenal may not matter.

I want Wigan to win to keep it interesting, I have an order of preference for who I'd like to see go down and they're third. I couldn't give a shit who makes the CL, but I suppose I want Arsenal to lose both their remaining games.

I want Arsenal in the Champions League for the 16th consecutive year so we can hear all their whiny fans go on about how their club never wins anything. It rings hollow.

    Thx,

    Jay!

I want to see Deuce in the Champions League and watching the Gooners fumble thru the Europa League would be fun.

I find I care less about Dempsey now that he's at sp*rs. Just like Keller and Brad, he'll wind up getting screwed there...

    Thx,

Pulis out at Stoke, apparently. So now he's second behind Wenger. Speaking of ...

With Pulis departing, evidently all 91 football league clubs not named Arsenal have now changed managers at least once since Arsenal last won something.

    Prescient.

(not exactly, but I think both sides gave up too early on this experiment)

    Thx,

As a Sounders fan I'm rather pleased that they gave up.

You know he'll have to essentially triple the output of Keane to justify the expenditure. And he's never been a goal-every-other-game scorer, let alone 1.5 goals per game.

But if he helps the USMNT over the next year finish up a successful WC campaign, I'll give him a pass for the rest of his MLS career. He still is on the shit list for his home run swing at RFK.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Nah. All he has to do is win Seattle an MLS Cup. No pressure.

Watching Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday, Owls winger Jeremy Helan is wearing tape over the words "Sky Bet" on his arm patches. It's falling off so it's not quite working...

Any chance of getting Mr. Shearer to lace up his boots again?

I'll provide the youth restoring magic vials ( crashing sound ensues as box of syringes clatter to the floor).

I had my "oh my Chelsea" post ready to go, then they had to go and ruin it. Still not a good run for them the last two league games.
