Heynckes thinks the Tymo-Gustavo pairing works, for some reason.
As said Would rather see Kroos or Alaba come in if Schweini is unavailable.

Regarding Bender, he's a class act with a lot of potential. Wouldn't mind seeing him here as he seemed to gel well with the Bayern players at vs Denmark. Don't know if he is an all star midfield signing, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

TBH though I always thought a move for him was unrealistic, as Leverkusen have been bitchy to us recently, the whole Vidal fiasco, Bender being their star German player with Schurrle, and his price.

I wish the Martinez situation would resolve itself one way or the other. Are they really taking this long to negotiate a price? Atletico seemed pretty staunch about the buy out clause.

I really think Martinez will add a lot to our midfield, especially paired to piggy

I've seen on youtube too much videos that let you seem the player is a worldclass and then is a sega.......

 

I would never base my entire assessment based on a YouTube video.
But you can see how a player like him can add that extra strength to our team especially in our pairing next to piggy.

He can play multiple positions he can defend well and on top of that he has the skill to go forward and add to our offense. Plus he can score a few too.

Something Gustavo is lacking.
