Specially Chilavert's partner during the world cup. I don't know his name even though he has tortured me for years but he has no business commentating a futbol match. He is the least professional of any comentaristas I have ever seen and spends most games talking "anecdotas" and stories etc.

You guys know who i'm talking about. He makes most Mexican comentaristas look good in comparison.

I think Hugo Sanchez (his mothafcking holyness) was hired for his opinions because a great deal of Spanish speaking audiences in the US will care about these.

He's not a diplomat so if he believes that Venezuelan soccer sucks (which it does) then he's going to say so.

It's annoying that they only seem to recognize the big names and cannot say much about anyone else. If they're going to broadcast the Copa, the least you can ask from them is to get informed about players not named Tevez or Messi.

You know whats the amusing part of the Hugo v Venezuela controversy

Hugo never said anything bad about Venezuela other than thinking that Brazil was going to tank them.

He never said all the quotes that are attributed to him.

Some guy made it up and sent it to some dude from Espn who later retweeted it without checking.

That sh_t spread like wildfire

And all the Venezuelans on twitter have been talking mad crap about Hugo and Mexico.

No video, no audio exists of the so called statements Hugo made.
