What a great Olympic tournament for our team! I recorded all the games, except for a couple of Group F games the NBC Networks didn't show. I am calling the semifinal "Mania In Manchester." Here are the games I recorded:

    Group E
    Great Britain 1 v New Zealand 0
    Brazil 5 v Cameroon 0
Great Britain 3 v Cameroon 0 (NBC networks only showed the 2nd half)
    Brazil 1 v New Zealand 0
Great Britain 1 v Brazil 0 (coverage starts in the 39th minute)

    Group F
    Japan 2 v Canada 1
    Japan 0 v Sweden 0
Canada 3 v S. Africa 0 (NBC networks only showed the 2nd half)
    Canada 2 v Sweden 2

    Group G
    USA 4 v France 2
    N. Korea 2 v Colombia 0
    USA 3 v Colombia 0
    France 5 v N. Korea 0
    USA 1 v N. Korea 0
    France 1 v Colombia 0

    Quarterfinals:
    USA 2 v New Zealand 0
    Canada 2 v Great Britain 0
    France 2 v Sweden 1
    Japan 2 v Brazil 0

    Semifinals:
USA 4 v Canada 3 (OT) - Mania in Manchester!
Japan 2 v France 1 - France misses a late PK that would have tied it

    3rd Place:
    Canada 1 v France 0

    Gold Medal Match:
    USA 2 v Japan 1 - includes pre-game, medal ceremony, and post-game interviews

I found complete versions of some of the Olympic first round games I was missing.

From Group E, I now have:
    Great Britain 1 v Brazil 0
    New Zealand 3 v Cameroon 1

    From Group F:
    Canada 3 v S. Africa 0
Japan 0 v S. Africa 0 (the Japanese weren't trying in this one!)

...I also found the Canadian broadcast of the USA-Canada Semifinal.

Ive watched the US (NBC), Canadian (TSN) and British (BBC) broadcasts of that game. It's amazing how the announcers colored the same game in three different lights depending on who they work for.

I only watched the Canadian broadcast and I was rather embarrassed at some of the commentary. They were especially harsh on the Americans in the Olympic final. I image the US commentary was just as biased, but how was the BBC broadcast overall?

I thought the BBC commentary was ace. Great rapport between the play-by-play guy and the color commentary lass (both of whose names I've forgotten) - joking, but informative. As for bias: I thought they were reasonably down-the middle, finding fault with some of the calls from both sides.

The Olympics are notorious for that kind of thing. Many years ago I saw clips of the way a track event was covered in three different countries. Each country's announcers only talked about the athlete from their country.
