I get the feeling the Hull is going to have a lot more supporters in the US this season. Don't really know where it's coming from, just a feeling.

Much of the Fulham support that it has in nice numbers in the US started in much of the same way due to various US NT players playing for the club.

I will say that the club's matches on either FSC and Setanta will be watched more than they might have last season thanks to Jozy.

Amazingly, Hull is in the running to land Alvaro Negredo from Real Madrid. This would be a huge coup if this happens. Supposedly they are the front runners, but that'll probably change if one of the big Premiership clubs joins the fray.

Yeah, ESPN 2 signed a contract to do a certain amount of EPL matches. I just read it released yesterday. they will mostly be the very early Saturday match

    Here it is:

NEW YORK (AP)—ESPN has reached an agreement with Fox Sports International to televise a package of Premier League matches in the U.S. for 2009-2010 beginning Saturday and through the completion of the season in May.

Under the agreement, ESPN2 will offer up to 48 live matches this season, including live presentation of the 12 Monday afternoon matches.

ESPN2 will feature one match each Saturday at 7:45 a.m. Eastern time and select Saturday matches at 10 a.m. (when there are no matches at 7:45 a.m.)

ESPN is televising Premier League matches in Britain for the first time this season.

The first match scheduled to be televised is Chelsea vs. Hull City on Saturday followed by Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester United on Aug. 22.

“The Barclays Premier League is one of the crown jewels of professional sports throughout the world,” said Scott Guglielmino, vice president of programming, ESPN. “We’re pleased to work with Fox Sports International to bring some of the league’s marquee matchups to ESPN2 in our continued efforts to serve soccer fans in the United States.”

Add that to the usual Fox soccer channel and Setanta matches.

No problem, ESPN2 will have the EPL. ESPN or ESPN 2 will also have la liga matches.

I have so many matches each weekend with FSC, Setanta, Gol tv, and ESPN Deportes.

No, ESPN is splitting some La Liga matches in the US as that was decided upon way before adding some EPL matches.

They obviously jumped on that right away due to the trend of stars moving to Spain.

Anyone find a channel in the states for the Hull match today at 11:30amPST? All I have so far is an online feed. Please let me know!

If you'd like the live feed, go here:

Might I add, I love seeing all the American Hull support since the Jozy signing. Several boards and chatter have pooped up that was non-existent last season. And Jozy is the buzz. Hopefully more teams take notice. Americans WANT to attach themselves to European teams but find it hard to choose sometimes. I think signings like this make it quite easy.

    GO TIGERS!!!

So where was Jozy today? I haven't heard any updates. Is he still having permit issues? He needs to get on that pitch and quick! Oh, and if anyone knows where the Hull defense is, let me know, they weren't there either!

Altidore made his debut off the bench against Bolton today.

Did very well, so much so, Alan Shearer analyzed him on Match of the Day.
