Rodallega had a silent game, once again he alone in the front versus 4 defenders.

I never really believed in one striker, unless we're playing to keep the defense on lock. Like Mourinho. But you always have to attack first not hold it first.

That goal he scored yesterday was great. It did not look like much at first glance but after looking at the slow motion replays you could tell he has great body control. Maybe it is from all the cool dancing he seems to do?

It was similar to the goal he scored with his chest against Ecuador in 2007 before the Copa America.

I'm very pleased to say that Hugo Rodallega's Wigan has left the awful days when they used to loose 9-0 (as against tottenham), today they only lost 8-0, much better.;)

Rodallega was all alone up top, specially after wigan got a red card.

So 8 man defense with Rodallega on up top, with a few runs by n zobia.

Hopefully this was his last game for Wigan. Hope he moves to one of the big 4 ASAP.

I wouldn't mind if he stayed at Wigan actually, I don't see it very likely that he will get a lot of playing time if he moves to a top EPL-team.
I prefer him being a Hero of Wigan than one of a zillion competing attackers in a top club. He just doesn't score enough goals.

However he's a workhorse and one of the colombian players that sacrifices himself the most. He could be useful for the NT as long as we don't have to rely on him to score the goals, he could play behind Jackson/Falcao somewhere.

I only want him to leave Wigan if it means that they'll buy Marco Perez to replace him.

I think Thats because as you saw today he was all alone up in the front, and added to that i believe they even had im playing as a winger part of the season... If he had teammates who pass him the ball, he would probably be scoring like crazy just like Falcao.

But ur right, this guy does put all heart in the field

rodallega tiene que salir de ese equipo rapidito, me vi el partido y este equipo tiene una actitud muy comoda con la derrota, lo peor es que son macrogoleadas!!

Arsenal fans aren't that crazy about the signing though, he will have to win them over.

They'll use him more as a winger than delantero, Arshavin might bounce so that leaves a huge gap that roda could fill.
