'fit' is not 'game fit'. No chance he is 'game fit'...and I know very well how much Landon prides himself on his fitness. It's not an attack, just logical...you can't keep up EPL pace without having had games.

The result of the other game makes some of us happy, as well. ;)

Losing to Man City at their place could be explained but to lose to the side on the bottom of the table at home is a disaster

The whole level of the EPL has dropped respect to what it was 2 years ago. Most of the best players are right now in Spain, Italy and Germany, not in the EPL any more. There's a reason why the two Manchester clubs top the EPL but couldn't get out of group in the Champs League.

86' Donovan with a nice flick on with his left, but just terrible forward first touch.
sad really for Everton...they need to move T. Cahill closer to goal...but they have nothing in the middle. Maybe move Neville to the middle and play with 3 in the back.

Actually, I was referring to NU-ManU.

But in this game I'm pulling for Holden's Bolton. Theyre desperate for points, whereas Everton has very little to play for.

Many people, including myself, have always said EPL doesn't have the best, technical players but there's no question it's fast paced and exciting which is why it's the most viewed and followed league in the world.

92' there is an example of how LD is gassed as a ball bounces into the right side of the box (foul by G. Cahill) and LD nowhere near the box.

Not usually The wind and a team needing points has made them look bad. Though Landon has been by far their best player

I was kidding, but Liverpool haven't been as fun to watch recently compared to when I was a little kid.

If Everton had played the second half like they did the last 30 seconds they might have won.

    FT: Everton lose 1-2

Don't know how you can reach that conclusion. He's played well for his first game, but Howard has made several key plays, not to mention scoring his teams only goal.

Everton was better than this last time LD played there.

He has some work to do to help them out both in terms of fitness and team cohesion.

He and Saha need to get on the same sheet of music quickly.

Howard allowed the second goal and for his goal that was a fluke which you can not give him credit for.

It's the most fun to watch because you have about 8-9 teams fighting for the places in Europe. And other 8-9 fighting for relegation up to the last.

La Liga, for example, early on you know who will be third and fourth after Barca and RM. Every passing year is more and more like a glamorized Scottish League.

Well, except that the level of play is much higher. The SPL right now is pathetic. I'd put the MLS on par with it, perhaps even above it.
