I for one welcome them, so long as they aren't certified dumb-asses. It's nice to have good visitors to broaden the perspectives around here.

I'm not a regular here but every time I check in to this forum it is a similar story; one of the magic trio players is under fire by the fans and is in the dog house.

I do not understand why? Ronaldo, Bez and Higuain are all fantastic players that have done thier job to perfection. Moreover, they all work well together and there is no ego issues, which is surprising given the status each of them holds for their national teams.

Of course there will be screw ups here and there Ronaldo will have a bad game here or there so will Bez and Higuaim but theses guys have scored over 100 goals for the team this season.

The probelm is not from the forwards or their lack of production or their mishapps here and there. The problem is from our midfield line who is not able to support the offence and supply that extra scoring power like that of Barca (scored 24 goals compared to 9 by our midfielders).

I do not consider Bayren on the same level of Barc or Real madrid but truth be said our Midfielders where not able to hold the ball for 2 minutes against Bayren's after Mou subbed Ozil out.

The real problem of this team is not in its line of forwards its the midfield and the defenders who are not great at providing that additional scoring punch you sometimes need when the offence is not clicking and unfortunately are neither great are holding down opposing teams and playing lockdown defence.

He was good against Barcelona. He was constantly chasing the ball recovering and doing his part to initiate counter-attack. There was one counter-attack in which he took the shot when Ronaldo was in a much better position, but besides that there is really nothing else to fault him with.

Today on telefoot, Blanc said that Mou informed him a long time ago that Benz is one of the most talented players in the squad but that he needs him to play for the team. now Blanc thinks that Benz is integral to the style of play of Madrid and is integral to France as well.
BTW telefoot is one of the most biased shows ever, they showed Ronaldo flipping Javi without explaining why, saying he preferred to do that than celebrate, Liza the ******** also said that Mou was butthurt from Barcelona that drove him to exceed the limits.(having said seeing his bitch ass almost cry when torres scored was Gary neville orgasmic)

The Euros are coming up and the French will hype their players up over any limit. The Germans are doing the same with Bild claiming "Mesut macht Real Madrid zum Meister" when we won against Athletic Bilbao.

Lizarazu is a basque. It's natural that he's anti Madrid.

While i agree, i do think that Benz is a better team player than Higuain(also one of my favs) and Blanc was saying it live and i have heard him enough to know he doesnt just bull shit.
Even if he is anti-Madrid, he should be at least fake objective. the constant blowjobing and i mean public blowjobing of Barcelona is too much.even the other commentator started going the other way just to stop him and that guy started by praising the whores.

I would say you need to hear him, but i like you too much 4x4s to put you through that.

If Benzema is more of a team player than Higuain it's so negligible it's not even worth mentioning quite frankly. And Benz's talent never was ever an issue, even a fool knows he has that in abundance, it was his desire and work ethic that was questioned and rightly so. He has had a fantastic season really building upon last but I'm not sure I'd call him "integral" as you could replace him with Higuain and still get the same results, there are other players who you can't say the same for.

    That Benz is not integral.
Blanc said that the reason Mou said that Benz was integral(and the number of starts show he appreciates him) is because he is more able to play-make and allow other individualistic players to show their talent.

    Btw Mymy,i m only sharing what i heard.Chill.

I dont know about him being an "integral" part, but he's right when he says he's able to create and be involved in the build up more than Higuain.

That's because Higuain plays in positions where goals are scored from.

For me at this point our two strikers, who I think are both fantastic, are pretty interchangeable but if I'm honest neither are really "integral" they both have well-documented strengths and weaknesses but for me being "integral" to our style of play suggests we suffer when one of them is missing and I don't think that is the case. Players "integral' to our style of play for me are the likes of Alonso and this season Cristiano Ronaldo. I'd even say an on form Oezil and Di Maria are more integral than Benzema at this point.

Di Maria? Not integral unless Mourinho is doing his conservative style against better opposition tactic.

Integral players for me? Casillas, Xabi Alonso, Cristiano, Ozil, Pepe.

After that then I would say Ramos, Benz/Hig/Di Maria.

Its super obvious that his link up play with Mesut and Ronnie is pretty awesome. Its been evident in many games over the years. Its one of the few things he was appreciated for even when he was having a terrible time in the beginning. Why would you say otherwise?

Erm?!? It was a joke. I think my position on both of our strikers is clear should you need a refresher you only need look two posts above yours on this page and at the post I made in Higuain's thread right before the post you quoted here. I'm not interested in making this Higuain vs. Benzema because I think the "issue" here lies with the coach despite him being the bestest, most brilliant thing since sliced bread. I know I'm not worthy to even say such a thing but I think Mou needs to take a little responsibility for this situation.

I just read an article that claimed "Giroud is Blanc's striker for the Euro".

I figure they mean he will go on a hunger strike or whatever, because besides Benzema's corner flag seeking shots from time to time, i can't imagine how this would make any sense.

Can anybody that cares about France confirm this?

    ^ Haha :D

Blanc has put out a side a couple of times with 2 strikers, usually Benz and Gameiro or Remy. I doubt he would stick with that system as against the bigger teams he would start with Benz alone up front or, like against Germany, with Giroud (Benz was injured).

Absolutely no way Giroud starts ahead of Benzema. Form-wise, ability-wise, and manager preference all points to Benzema getting the nod.

Remy is out 3-4 weeks with an injury.

Giroud would be my striker, but I mean that in a way completely different and definitely more carnal than what Blanc does :D
