This game was the first time I have thought this (emphasis mine) to be the case since he took over. I am suspending my judgement until I see who he calls into Camp Strudel (if we have one) and from there who is chosen for the WCQ calls in Feb and March. But for sure, and for all the reasons you mention, the Russia match made an impression on me. Please now can we see the squad in a game that matters with a keeper who can actually distribute?!?!
MB, Adu, and Altidore will finally take over the team as it was foretold by their time together in the U-17's. I think this will be closer to the truth than people think.
MB's practically there, and Altidore's about 3/4's of the way there, but Adu has a whole lot of catching up and regular, successful playing to do if he's ever going to fulfill that.
