I would like to know as well. I have had one kid on my team who is well over 6 feet and strong and can throw it 30 yds and then I had a kid that was less than 5 ft tall and could throw it that far too. So I know it is all technique.
BTW, he is 19. It says on his profile.

Run up a little bit and put your normal plant foot down as you shoot and launch the ball from behind you neck high and as you do it launch your body weight towards your plantfoot. It's about weight not height.

I have the longest throw in my division i can throw it from the sideline nearly to the other side, most of the time i can hit the far side of the 18 yard box but have once hit the other sideline.
