So Luciano Emilio Signed to brazilian lower tiered team Rio branco from Americana

They just got promoted from São Paulo's state 2nd division, they don't even play the brazilian league on any level...

I'd say for that sums up the league

when one of its most prolific strikers
YEAR CLUB GP GS MIN G A SHT SOG FC FS C EJ
    Career DC 83 76 6,621 41 8 214 115 72 95 6 1

gets signed by a C squad... a small club in the state league usually plays the Serie C if not D in Brazil...

??? 41 goals is barely a blip in MLS history. It takes almost double that to break the top 10.

No, but it sums up your bias...

14 goals a year. Good, but not "one of the league's most prolific strikers"

    14 goals in 6 months....

thats another detracting factor of the league...

the diminuitive nature of it... considering everywhere else in the world plays at least 8 months...

Let me see, March through October is 8 months last time I checked. Ok, 7.5 since we didn't start until mid-March last year. Then another month of playoffs in November.

You know, you would do a lot better in making your point if you actually knew something about the league you were talking about.

On the other hand, he had 20 goals his first year and 21 the two years afterwards. The trend was pretty clear. So we got him in his Toto Schillaci year. :)
