oh, but it was bad, real bad at a couple of points. So much for my Dynamo rain jacket-I think I need to rewaterproof it, but with that kind of rain, I think you are getting wet no matter what
http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/10/03/record-crowd-expected-sounders-timbers-clash we'll never get that number for obvious reasons, but maybe one day we'll have to expand but that day is a about 20 years away.If we did, I wonder how they would do it to BBVA. BTW-I was at the game mentioned in '96. True story-we were in the last seats in the upper deck under the HESS sign. My buddy goes "oh sh#$"-we're like "what?". He turns and looks at us and his nose starts bleeding. Damn funniest story about bad seats ever. Andrew Shue had an assist that match, no joke. El Stanque had a hat trick IIRC.

you know like everyone else in the league i like to 'have jokes' when it comes to Seattle, but that crowd and that tifo was impressive last night.
Yeah, yeah, but Dang! Exactly how many 25 year old white people live in Seattle?!?!?! What do they do, eat the old people and anyone who is not quite white enough? Seattle crowds don't look much like my America.
Thats unreal. 66% white? and Portland even higher? Maybe they oughta rename the rivalry from Cascadia Cup to "Caucasia Cup!"
So you know. . . . that is the core city . . . it is even a few percentage points higher if you include the suburbs.
in my my previous position, i travelled 'chingos'* for work all over the US. outside the large urban areas (NY, LA, Chicago, Houston, etc.) i usually found myself the only non-Anglo on the airplane, restaurant, hotel. so yeah, i'm not as surprise as i've spent 3 days in Wisconsin before and didn't run into one Mexican. *that's Mexican for a whole fk lot.
I'll have to tell you my Mexican-American experience in Pittsburgh and how I found the only taqueria in town. No joke- and it's in Wexford (think the poshier version of Kingwood).
