THis is Why Chivas was such a failure their first year because they Alienated hispanic fans who werent mexican, Most of my family is Salvadorean and they didnt subscribe to the whole El Futbol esta aqui crap. Besides Most Mexicans could care less About MLS so i wouldnt worry. its the Central and south americans that tend to Support the League a little more. The name has made it on a bunch of news papers out here in LA, even in smaller news papers like the Long Beach Press telegram. They refered to it as The Houston 1836? Hey its publicity.

Look at all the Houston rappers coming up wearing Houston sports gear. They wear it because of their pride in the city which they live in.
