With a big gap between Reserve games, he will be able to play 6 or 7 matches for the Dutch Lions.

    Depth Chart at forward:
    Vargas
    Renteria
    Arrieta (When he gets here)
    Schoenfeld
    Finlay
    Meram
    Mirosevic (Can play FWD)
    Gaven (Can Play FWD)
    Heinemann (If healthy)
    Speas (If heatlhy)
    Horton

Is this the 1st time the Crew has loaned out a player in recent memory?

I actually thought he might be on the chopping block when we have to make room for our current roster of 32. Other teams have cut their Homegrown talent before.

He could still be on the chopping block.

But remember with the Hesmer and Heinemann injuries they could IR them which makes room for J.Ariola..or whatever his name is.
James could be IR'd as well. once you have a collapsed lung it could happen again with more frequency.

Meram has been a healthy scratch. He could conceivably be cut at this point.

Yeah, I thought I heard Meran say he was healthy, just not being selected.

This is good we really should do more of this with our young players that don't factor in to our first or second unit. If you aren't on the main practice squad rotation you should probably be loaned. Dayton is good we should use Pittsburgh too; it not only has the benefit of getting them games but it could have a bit of a minor league baseball effect. Loan the kids to lower division teams that are close hope they do well and gain some fans once we call them back fans within driving distance or in the TV coverage area might catch a few games to see "their guy" get called up.

Recently yeah, but we did have a working relationship with the Stars up in Cleveland I'm hoping we might see something again with the NPLS team. Always good to use what we can.

Didn't we loan someone to Cleveland 2 or 3 years ago?

I've never heard of Horton. Or Dayton, for that matter.
