So assuming I can get to the brew store in Columbia this evening I plan on brewing up a batch or two Sunday. Any Montgomery County or DC Barra are invited to join in and help out, partiucarly if you have an extra carboy. Probably watch the game on the Plasma following. Batch should be ready for the first playoff game
What are you brewing? Also if Chris is there tell her Marc says hi! They usually do a beer tasting on Thursday nights there as well.
Probably a wheat and a scotch ale. Depends on if anyone else joins in and how many carboys there are. I have a 6 gallon but I don't like using my 5 gallon one. I haven't brewed in a couple of years, but now that I actually have a basement and it is at the proper temperature I can start up again.

i hope its ready for the chivas game on the 26th b/c rfd had no idea what i was talking about when i went there to get the last keg...nobody was helpful and didnt seem interested in trying to figure out what was going on there
Unless you work near Columbia, may I suggest checking out Derek's place at myLHBS in Falls Church. It's next to Sears and across from the upcoming Dogfish Head Brewpub in the 7 Corners area. The store is within the family business' offices, so he can actually afford to supply us homebrewers. Great guy (used to be one of the main dudes at BrewAmerica in Vienna), good selection (and will order whatever you need), good prices. Good brewing!!

You can only edit posts within a certain time - I believe an hour or so, not sure exactly. That's been standard since before the upgrade.
