Isla's return is premature. Might be another week. I am certain many here will be heartbroken. Lichsteiner & Barzagli are back .....

Stephan Lichtsteiner, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonnareturn for Juventus-Udinese.

This Serie A tie kicks off in Turin at 17.30 GMT on Sunday, click here for a match preview.

Ogbonna and Bonucci are back in the squad after their one-match bans, whileBarzagli has shaken off an injury he sustained on international duty.

Lichtsteiner’s inclusion is a huge boost, as the Swiss wide man has been out of action for two months with a serious thigh strain.

Kwadwo Asamoah is unavailable due to suspension, while Sebastian Giovinco, Mauricio Isla and Simone Pepe are injured.

Juventus squad for Udinese: Buffon, Chiellini, Caceres, Ogbonna, Pogba,Marchisio, Vucinic, Tevez, De Ceglie, Peluso, Llorente, Barzagli, Motta, Bonucci,Padoin, Pirlo, Vidal, Lichtsteiner, Quagliarella, Storari, Rubinho

Pirlo, niente Galatasaray.

    Pirlo back early for Juventus
    By Football Italia staff

Andrea Pirlo has cut short his Christmas holidays in order to prove his fitness for the Juventus-Roma showdown.

The Italian international has been out of action since picking up a knee problem at the start of this month against Udinese.

According to Tuttosport, the former Milan playmaker will be at the Vinovo training centre on Friday – two days before the rest of his teammates are set to report back to Turin.

Juventus, five points clear at the top of the table, will entertain the second-placed Giallorossi on January 5.

Chiellini & Barzagli are both doubtful for this weekend. Tests revealed an inflammation of the soleus muscle in the left calf for Chiellini.

If we can't beat Chievo with a backline of Bonucci, Ogbonna and Caceres, who are 1 point from relegation and 2 points from being bottom of the table, then we've got problems.

Mirko Vucinic underwent medical tests today after spraining his right knee in training. The striker had an MRI scan, performed by professor Carlo Faletti, and a medical examination at Turin's Clinica Fornaca, carried out by professor Flavio Quaglia.

The exams ruled out any ligament damage but revealed bruising on his tibia and medial meniscus.

Although no surgery is required, the Montenegrin forward is expected to be out of action for several weeks.

    Sights firmly fixed on Chievo
The league leaders regroup at the club’s Juventus Center training complex for their penultimate training session ahead of this weekend’s fixture with Gialloblu

Greeted by glorious spring sunshine, Juventus returned to Vinovo this morning for their penultimate training session ahead of Sunday afternoon’s Serie A clash with Chievo Verona at Juventus Stadium.

Tactics and strategy again formed the main ingredients of today’s workout, with Antonio Conte leading his men through several scenarios to be reenacted against the Gialloblu this weekend.

Rejoining the group was new arrival Dani Osvaldo, now fully recovered from the flu, while Simone Pepe was forced to depart the training session early after reporting muscular discomfort in his left thigh. The winger will undergo medical examinations tomorrow.

The Bianconeri will put the finishing touches on their battle plan for Sunday’s encounter when they return to Vinovo for another morning session tomorrow.
