Claudio Marchisio has undergone an MRI scan after taking a knock to his left hip during yesterday’s training session in Vinovo. The scan, carried out by Professor Carlo Faletti, ruled out any serious injuries and instead revealed a strain in the midfielder’s obturator externus muscle. Marchisio is expected to be out of action for between seven and ten days.
