I saw the Caceres injury. The pitch may be bad but it was his stupid tackle and method that caused the injury. Why did he need to go for a tackle near the touchline, at midfield when it was coming to the end of the match? All he had to do was run down Emanuelson along the flank. And then Pepe with a muscle injury in the early part of the training season, come on, it happens.

    eh, my iPad.

Also, 20 and 45 days really isn't all that bad. Caceres will be 45 days at most they said, that means second week of the season or so.

    2. Buffon/ thigh strain / 21 Aug (one match?)

I removed Pepe from the list as I believe he is back in training, so we won't count his pre-season injury as he should be available for the official season. Not sure the status of Caceres at this point.

Lucio has undergone medical tests after twisting his right ankle in training on Friday.
The X-ray and MRI scans, which were conducted on Saturday morning, have revealed a complete tear of the defender’s anterior talofibular ligament.

Sucks for Lucio, but this is a blessing in disguise. I hope he never plays for us again
