    What was the name of that little English striker who made his name knocking in goals from in the six yard box- I'm pretty sure he used to play for Leicester?

    Depends if you mean started with Leicester or played with Leicester at one point.


    Tony Cottee is the latter.

    Re: Cottee- I'm not sure that was him- the guy I was thinking of has curly blonde hair- but maybe I'm getting old and confusing things?

    Steffan Freund. Was hardly a prolific forward.

    No I think you were right- it must be Tony Cottee- I remember in one interview how the player I remembered was carrying on about all the goals he scored in the 6 yard box, and looking at this article and the date- late 90's to early 00's, that was about right.
