We get a home grown player in ages, who has all the potential to become the next biggest thing, and now this series of unfortunate events has to happen, wth ! Hope he recovers well, and please no more bad luck for him. Get well soon , Jese.
Jesé has undergone an arthroscopic revision of his right knee. http://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2014/04/new-jese-rodriguez-medical-report?pid=1383833298379
Infections are not uncommon after an operation and usually no big deal. He'll be fine and won't impact his recovery at all.
Actually infections after a surgery like Jese's are pretty rare and depending on what "revision" entails it most certainly could impact his recovery both short and longterm.
He is in Augsburg's Hessingpark-Clini now. I am sure that he is tyhe reason why Bayern Munich lost last night.
What a talent this kid is, I hope he makes it back and at some point we see Varane-Ilara-Di Maria-Isco-Jese-Morata all playing at the same time. Best young core in the world.
Sergio was awesome though, he even gave a halftime interview about the game. It's great to see the football players and the basketball players considering themselves one team. Ramos had a Marcus Slaughter shirt on, said he wears the shirt of a friend and great player.
Glad to see Jese is back in Madrid. Get well soon! Hopefully, you'll be there celebrating with the boys La Decima this year!
Wonder how La Liga would've gone if Jese didn't get injured. Just looking at these past 2 matches, we could've really used him.
I actually think this was key for us. Without that we never see Di Maria in midfield and Isco, Illara, and Casemiro remain benched. Now as far as Jese is concerned he is definitely a player we missed today and in the last few games. Khedira would have provided some much needed hustle and energy to a lethargic performances but don't let that fool you into thinking he was going to turn goal provider or game changer. If he anything he stifles our play at times because our midfield can't retain possession when he plays.
Carlo thinks so too. Words of praise from Carlo: "He was a surprise to everyone. I did not know him, but (Zinedine) Zidane spoke highly of him and when I saw him training, I understood. He was very important to us and much missed at the end of the season, when we had problems with Cristiano (Ronaldo) and (Gareth) Bale. I think with Jesse, the final of the Liga would have been different."
The flicked finish against Villareal at around 2:50 in that video is still genius. I've seen it loads of times since and I would never even have thought about that finish at that moment. He takes it so early its unbelievable.
