I should be more loyal at this, but it looks like I'm going back down to D.VI after one year. The league I got drawn into is still one of the toughest in the game, and I happened to hit it at a down form cycle and a pretty bad order of teams to keep confidence up. At least I'm pretty sure I should be in good shape in wherever I get demoted to save money and be ready in two seasons. I could still get a quallie, but I'm not sure I want one if I have to stay where I am.

Just realized I played a forward as a winger, and of course now losing a derby 3-2.

Lost my best striker to injury today, likely going to cause problems with my bid to go up.

Prices seem to be higher earlier in the season with teams trying to bulk up for cup runs and new leagues. That's just my personal observations; I have no data to back that up.

The thing I do have on my side, is my GD and points are enough that I can lose one game, still MOTS my final game and promote without a qualifier to II...

Disregard that last comment. I got bids for 555,000 for this guy with a few more hours to go. I know he has good passing, but people are getting crazy.

well if you lose to the sprinkles this wk, he's one back and you have to goto Salonica (who just played in the Open Cup final) and get a result. that's tough. I see you added a new forward...

4 chances in the first half. 3 to me, and he gets the goal.

So, what happens in the close season? I joined halfway through this season in series VI and have a chance to snatch second, but am looking forward to building for next season.

The weekend after the 14th league game, you'll have qualifiers for teams that finish in first place, or teams that finish in 5th and 6th. The following weekend, you'll have nothing. You'll get your first round of the cup, the Wednesday after that.

looks like you'll luck out. Salonica has unloaded all of his hi-priced players after the cup final appearance. You should get the 3 pts you need to win the league.

Salonica's bit of a daytrader so I'm guessing he wont rebuild until wk1 next season, since he's locked into midtable with no threat of a qualifier. Good economic strategy.
